Delete old sidewalk and created a new one. Created a path to the new sidewalk from a working area. It doesn’t show up in the options for a new work plan.
Does it show up in the list of sidewalks? Maybe try renaming it and see if it shows up. If the list is large, may need to scroll the list, might be hidden below.

I checked the sidewalk list and it wasn’t there.
I accidentally replaced the sidewalk with a path.
I’ll redraw it.
