Local service is more than a pin on the map—it’s having someone nearby who knows Yarbo and knows how to get it back to work.
This time, meet Frank Monteleone of Monteleone Gardens in Eldred, New York.
Frank brings years of hands-on experience in electrical systems, automation, controls, and mechanical troubleshooting—along with firsthand experience as a Yarbo owner.
“I don’t just want to sell Yarbos. I want to keep them working.” — Frank
I’m about 10 days in queue awaiting a replacement core to be shipped for # 239804, and this provider option is appealing.
If I make the 3+ hour drive to a provider and parts are needed, what timeframe can they (and therefore me) expect for him to receive any parts that are needed for that ticket?
Do providers have access to the ticket system to see a current diagnosis?
Are providers like Frank given some some amount of parts to stock? Are they looking at two week turnarounds, waiting for things? Can parts be shipped proactively to them if I indicate, on the ticket, that I’d prefer a local provider to repair, instead of replacement?
I’d very much prefer repair for most of the cases I’ve had, so far, provided that I’m making one trip for a same-day repair. It’d be a 7 hour round-trip, plus repair time, and I’d do that once to avoid the two to four weeks of downtime I’m currently facing, and all the shipping costs you’d be paying. But he’s got to have the parts needed to service whatever the ticket is.
Congrats to Frank and Yarbo for the start of a great provider network!
Cheers
Hi there, I’ve checked your ticket, and it shows that the issue is related to the power board. This is something the service provider can repair locally.
I also checked the availability of the parts needed for the repair. Frank does not currently have the required part on hand, but we have already arranged for it to be shipped to him. It is expected to arrive in around 3 business days.
Service Providers do not have access to our support ticket system, but they do have diagnostic tools that allow them to diagnose issues on site. They will also typically keep some commonly used parts in stock for regular repair work.
If you prefer to have Frank handle the repair, please contact him in advance to confirm the details and arrange your visit after he has received the replacement part. Please also update your support ticket with your decision so that we can cancel the Core replacement process accordingly.
