So there’s construction going on down the street from me, and I guess Xfinity decided that now would be a great time to disconnect the Internet on our street.
I decided to take advantage of the opportunity and find out what my robot mowers would do under this situation. They still have WiFi and/or hardwired Ethernet to my house, but no WAN to the Internet.
I was quite relieved to find out that Yarbo and the Mammotion bots all automatically failed over to their built in 4G.
Now that the experiment is over, I’ll allow my Cradlepoint router to fail over to its 5G secondary WAN.
