Yeah maybe it was a little dark. I turned the lights on B1 and the garage light. I’m going to try again tomorrow in the morning.
No luck on the camera recalibration earlier today. ![]()
However watching B1 run right now I feel like it is behaving like MP1 with “Ultasonic” enabled running in the background. Because if the false positives are coming the cameras then something is afoot.
When it’s takes a second pass towards the false positives if it happens to encounter a them again it will seem to erase about 85% or ignore them and back though an already identified false positive. Interesting.
Is B1 equipped with Ultrasonic sensors?
When B1 is going to a WA to start of WP I will not get any false positives. Same on the way back to the charger-no false positives. Only during a WP in WA.
No ultrasonics and I’ve seen the same behavior when backing with the mower too.
Hi there, thank you for sharing the details.
This issue requires further investigation from our team, especially regarding the false positive detections and the front camera connection issue. We will review the information and look into the possible root cause as soon as possible.
We’ll get back to you with updates once we have more information. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
I went into all my Pathways and disabled Obstacle Avoidance just as a test to see if this helps with the false positives. Heck, why not it’s a robot!?
Never really clicked into the Pathway setting on B1 and did so yesterday. Ha.
This is how I got to the “test” out this theory. Purely by mistake. Ha!
I have B1 connected and am away but can anyone check on your M1/MP if Obstacle Avoidance Mode is an option under
- SAFETY SETTINGS
These are my options with B1 attached:
I think this was it for me. I ran 3 tests. All had no false positives with OAM disabled. Didn’t even realize this was even there under Safety Settings for B1.
Still getting flase positive with it on though. ![]()
The blower is different. That’s where the setting is for it.
Hi there,
The Obstacle Avoidance Mode setting is a separate feature specifically for the Blower module. You can refer to this article for more details about how it works:
https://wiki.yarbo.com/blower/app-guide/obstacle-avoidance
If you disable this setting, Yarbo will still rely on the bumper sensor as the final obstacle detection method.
Based on your current situation with false positives, disabling Obstacle Avoidance Mode and relying on the bumper may be a possible workaround.
Please also make sure to set up Go-Go Zones for any areas that need to be protected from Yarbo.
Thanks for sharing your testing results and feedback. It will help us better understand the user experience with different settings.
