Does the chute on your Yarbo snow blower keep getting stuck?

I assume it is blocked with wet snow? What are your current snow blower settings? Here are some of Yarbo’s recommendations for wet snow.

Snow plume diverter is the plastic piece at the base of the snow chute.
The lower bars is the protection fence in the front of the snow blower.

The lower bars are already removed and I’ll try to remove the snow plume diverter.

You’re welcome. You could also try a silicone spray in the chute, impeller, and in the snow intake box itself. Let us know how it goes.

I’ve already applied Show Jet Spray; it was better for the auger.

How deep is the snow you are trying to remove?
You need a minimum of 2 inches or you don’t have enough volume. Try 5.88. If less than 2 inches I would do no overlap.

Is that wet snow or dry? It’s best to send it out between 1-2 inches and send it often to keep up.

You may want to consider max overlap and slowing speed down and set the auger speed to turbo.

I think you pretty much covered it.
The only thing I would add is that getting the areas, plan order, and snow throw direction set properly can take a few iterations. I don’t think you can get all that setup properly on your first go.

That’s a good point about the snow throw directions. Setting it to one side of the driveway can make the pattern more efficient with less turns. Also keeping it consistent and unbroken if at all possible. The turns and the lack of volume gets you in trouble with the wet snow.

One other thought. When you first set it up don’t try to make it clear everything. Have it clear the essentials. It can have a hard time in corners, etc. After you get that working then tweak it and add miscellaneous sections. When I first got mine I tried to clear everything I did with my Ariens and I got the core stuck a few times. It’s not easy to get unstuck. Keep in mind I already had 3 to 4 feet of snow so Im not sure its a fair representation. As Bryan stated send it out often before too much snow accumulates.

I’ve noticed that a setting for adjusting the movement speed by zone would be useful. (For example, the street curb should always be at minimum speed.)
