# Dynamic charge point to complete job

It doesn’t make sense to charge up to when you have 5 minutes left on the job (ex. 20% → 80%). Bot should charge up as much as is needed to complete the work (ex. 20%→30%) , then go dock to finish the charge.

I dont like mowing at night. Sometimes, I’ll be right near sunset, only a few minutes of the job left and the yarbo will go back to the dock. Normally, it’ll hang out there for ~4+hr to charge up before resuming. Instead, it really only needs a handful of minutes. I’ll hop in the app, see that its at ~25% and tell it to resume its last dead-end that it wasn’t able to finish. It’ll go do that, then return to the dock at 22% and all is well with the world.

We understand that having Yarbo use a more dynamic charging logic—especially before the final run of a work plan—could help improve efficiency. Happened to me yesterday on a 100 degree day. Literally got to 98% complete when the battery hit 20%. Yarbowski went back to the dock and due to the extremely hot weather it took almost 5 hours for it to charge to 80%. Tjhis removed the ability to start one of the other workplans I wanted to complete that day. Overall, I am very happy with my Yarbo and it does a great job. If this change could be made it would be a huge improvement in productivity.
