I am trying to edit an area to expand it, I have tried it 4 times now with the same result… I start within an area, exit it to add a section and enter it again (simple edit) and when the next button comes up (once I enter the area again) I click it and I get a select an area to retain option like I was splitting… and there is only one choice containing my original work area. Is there some trick to this? I am expanding over another existing area, so maybe that has something to do with it? I have expended an area before and it seemed to have worked, so not sure what is going on, would rather not redraw the whole thing.

Edit Area does not work on some Areas. I have been trying to work out the pattern that causes the failure – Area size, dimensions, the way it was mapped – can’t quite figure it out. I have an Area that looks like Idaho, and Edit Area won’t work. Other Areas it will.

After checking with our team, it looks like this may be a known bug. If you click the “Next” button immediately when it appears, there’s a chance that the area doesn’t save properly.
We suggest trying this: even if the “Next” button shows up, drive your Yarbo a little further into the area before clicking it. This small step usually helps ensure the expansion is saved correctly.
