I would like to see a brush guard

I would like to see a brush guard that could be made out of nylon nothing too strong but it could protect the antennas from low tree branches. It could be 3D printed or inexpensively constructed out of aluminum or nylon and securely mounted on the trailer hitch and then just set over the top of the core unit

Are you finding the flex mounts are not helping here? I find them sufficient.

Based on our testing, the flexible antenna mount can help reduce the risk of antenna damage caused by low tree branches by allowing the antenna to flex when encountering obstacles.

At this time, we do not have plans to develop a separate brush guard accessory, but we appreciate your feedback and will continue to consider different solutions to improve Yarbo’s durability in various environments.

I am sorry for the dely in responding to your question. I do not get notifications from this forum. The answer is no, i do use the flexible mounts because I only recently joined the Yarbo family and cleared any and all obstructions and hazards from Yarbo’s path as I was creating the maps. So while I personally don’t have a need for antennae protection I was trying to help those the do and help Yarbo from havingbto deal with so manyantennae issues and rellacements over the long term.
