A couple nights ago I noticed Yarbo had flashing red lights on the core and it was no longer connected. Upon further inspection it was also off. Here is a list of what I have tried so far.
Unplugged the battery for 5 minutes and did a hard restart.
Unplugged the data center for an hour and plugged it back in
Unplugged the battery overnight and restarted it
Looked inside with a flash light to see if any connections were looking not right.
It is plugged into the charger not on the dock which support told me to do. When it’s on it’s showing 100%.
I created a ticket but got the stock AI email about trying all of the above which I had told them I already did and sent them the videos they requested. Every time I restart it turns on but within an hour or so I find it in the same state again red lights blinking and off. They want to access it remotely but it won’t stay on and they won’t get back to me to let me know when they are trying to get in so I can make sure I babysit it. I have sent a couple emails asking for any kind of update and heard nothing back. Starting to wish I bought the extended warranty.
Hold the power button for 60 seconds next time when turning it on. Ask in your ticket to schedule a support call or call support directly and maybe phone support can help.
Hi there, really sorry to hear about the issue and the inconvenience this has caused. Please keep your Yarbo online as much as possible over the next 24 hours. I’ve asked our FSE team to review your case as soon as possible.
I have held the power button for 60 seconds. Still shuts off within an hour or so every time. I’d like to schedule a call but no one has gotten back to me and we are on day 4 now.
I have to go to work during the day and sleep at night so there is no way to keep it on for 24 hours.
Has anyone had Frank Monteleone in NY fix a core? I am considering making the 2 1/2 hour drive to have my core fixed rather than taking the chances on getting a heavily used core. I have a small yard and only run it once a week since our grass grows very slow. My core does not have a lot of run time and I have seen cases of people getting cores in terrible condition.
I understand your concern I was in the same situation a few months ago. The bad part is if he can’t repair it, you may have to make two trips, one to drop off, and one to pick up. That gamble I did not want to take, driving there twice. Good luck with your situation.
I got lucky and got a really nice unit. It is a gamble though. They also offer where you can send yours into a repair center and they will repair it and send you it back. You could ask for that option.
Hi there, sorry for the delayed response. I’ve checked your ticket in our system and confirmed that we have already initiated the replacement process for you.
Once the replacement arrives, please feel free to let us know how it works out and whether you’re satisfied with the replacement unit.
