New update said it was supposed to fix the auto night light issue but now my night lights come on. Before the update this didn’t happen. No provision in app settings to turn it off. Also switched my network to cellular. Tried to switch back to DC/WiFi but won’t acknowledge it. Just keeps searching. I tried a hard reboot (Physical shutdown and restart) with no luck. T’s up?
Did you unplug power to the DC and the battery cable from the core for 5 mins and then power up the DC and then the core? As for the lights, the top white lights are expected to be on now when the core is not actively charging. When charging, all lights will be off. Not charging, top battery status indicator (central) lights will remain on and if the app connects the rear taillights will illuminate red. I don’t like it, but that was apparently intentional.
Hi there, could you please let me know exactly which light is staying on? If you are referring to the lights on the top side of the Core, those lights will remain on when the machine is powered on but not actively charging. They are used to indicate that the machine is still in an active/on state.
As for the other issue, could you please try following Bryan’s suggestion to see if that helps? If the issue still persists after trying those steps, please feel free to contact our support team so we can further investigate and assist you.
I’ve done everything you addressed and am in agreement as you stated “I don’t like it, but that was apparently intentional.” Everything reacts the same as originally inquired about. Hopefully, the next update will include an option to turn that feature on or off. In this process/update I also noticed that my network was changed from DC WiFi to Cellular. And when I tried to go back to it, the app wanted to connect my DC but couldn’t. The app recognizes the DC but when I look for the stats, it just keeps searching. I see the information for the DC that used to be accessed from the Network tab has been moved to the Diagnostic Tools tab and all the info shown there for the DC is good by the info that I researched regarding acceptable parameters/numbers. AND the light on the DC is steady green. All that stated, I’m not going to beat everyone up looking for answers. As long as the unit performs as it should, I’m going to run with it. I’ll be sending my unit out tomorrow to find out.

It says true. Like I said, all my stats agree with explication of such that was posted oin this forum.
Keep an eye on your 4G data usage. You’re most likely going to hit you monthly cap quickly.
I had that same thought and that’s why I am so concerned about getting back on to DCWi-Fi.
My top lights and tail lights are on all night and day using precious battery time on and off the charge pad… why is this a smart idea?
