RTK Pro antenna on datacenter-mount bracket

I swapped the RTK antenna on my datacenter with the Pro variant which is much wider. The antenna bracket doesn’t fit now. What do you guys do?

I used their data center extender kit but they don’t offer it anymore. You could take it off and not use the support, duct tape (kidding), or get an SMA barrel adapter and a thick soft rubber washer that would fit inside the stabilizer bar you got. Use the extension barrel and washer underneath the new antenna and screw it down onto the stabilizer bar. This is effectively what their kit did too.

Seems they pulled the video from the wiki but the photo is here of the kit.

Hmm, anyone tried a 3D model? Seems like an easy print.

A black zip tie around the GPS and halow ants, barely snug (NOT TIGHT) should be adequate to stop any rotation of the halow.

Or black duct tape would match just perfect!

This is DEFINITELY something to know before someone starts the project!

In my case I would be hiring a local roofer to handle the work up there and I wouldn’t want to discover this “issue” during the deployment.

Need to have all the parts and clear instructions before sending someone on the roof.

About 14 inches of Velcro works great, wrap it around the base station and antenna.

Now if only Yarbo app 3.19.2 could find Yarbo and its new just installed Pro Antenna.

Hopefully the new yet to be released app version will work before the snow flys or I will be stuck with manual mode for another winter.

Does it not find it with bluetooth? Is your core powered on, firmware up to date, etc? Try unplugging the battery cable for 5 mins, unplug power to your DC for the same time. Plug u[ the DC power, then turn on the core and hold the power button on it for 60 seconds when turning it on.

Thanks for sharing the tip! As for the issue you’re having, could you please follow the troubleshooting guide and try the initial steps first? If the issue is still there afterward, feel free to submit a support ticket so our team can take a closer look.

Yes its connected, I have tried the methods you mentioned, but the software bug mentioned in a couple of the forum threads is whats happeneing. It shows most things connected but when I go to (poor memory for names) the details of the base station and it wants to connect it doesnt, the previous version to 3.19.2 worked and got the 1st time map started, but yarbo kept droping to a medium sattelite signal. I saved it and planned to map the following day, the next morn the app updated to 3.19.2 and I have been hopeing the Pro antenna would be available soon.

They were ordered last fri morning, ironically I checked my email after the order for a reciept and was shocked to see a message from Yarbo saying they sent me 3 Pro antenna a week previous and arrived that afternoon. Thank you Yarbo Engineer I spoke with on the phone several weeks ago!

At this point I will be makeing another attempt to get Yarbo Snow Blower into automatic mode. Thru the apple Ipad I-16 as I do not and never will have a cell phone. (3 cells required 24-7 for work for many years… NEVER AGAIN)

Thanks for the help Bryan

The problem I have is similar to this post Can't connect to Data Center

When I goto the data center details or Find my yarbo, it doesnt. In that and 1-2 other posts in the forum its mentioned its a known error to fixed in next version.

Hopefully it works and I wont need a ticket number

There is a new updated app and firmware available now too. Give that a shot.

The update should be available to you soon. If you’re still experiencing the issue after updating, please submit a support ticket so our team can look into it and help you further.
