Nope. There’s no way to please everyone. But if they release something that isn’t even usable for most people, that would be a PR disaster.
To me, Waypoints is a good example of a feature that was announced and anticipated by many people, but the released version leaves a lot to be desired. And it hasn’t even been updated since the initial release.
