The last forum update indicated “Tow Mode” would be released with an update at the end of April 2025. What is the status of this rollout? Is there anyway to utilize the SAM with a pull behind aerator via a work plan without jacknifing the unit? ---

It became April-May a few weeks ago. I took that to mean Release 7 (I think it’s 7?) will be later this month. I haven’t seen an update since. I understand that some people have tried creating some kind of patrol path to tow a lawn tool with the SAM. I haven’t used the SAM, but I guess you can do that? I never heard back if it worked. ---

I would not recommend towing automated with any module until tow mode is released. AFAIK, still release 7 which should be in the next few weeks. ---

I wouldn’t tow with any path drawn by the automation, just one I mapped manually towing the tool around, if there is such a thing that’s one-way. The automated mowing lines, for example, are not going to be compatible – not going to happen, don’t do it. Deadends won’t work because they reverse. A hack with a snakey Pathway between two Areas? Maybe, BUT the rover backs up sometimes during its operation making even a slight turn, and who knows what that will do. I agree with Bryan - I’d just wait for Tow Mode, it’s coming. ---

Please advise on an ETA for automated tow mode patterns to utilize various width (24", 48", etc.) towbehind implements such as aerators, sweepers, sprayers. Obviously the Core must be prevented from auto recharging to the base station with a tow behind unit connected. Thank you ---

“Smarter towing with Yarbo” YouTube video released 7 days ago but no instruction or demo of how to access Tow Mode within the app throughout the 1.5 hr video. Please provide instructions or useful how-to tutorial. Thank you ---

It’s not released to the community yet. That was a beta release that he demoed. It will probably be a few weeks before it is pushed out. ---

I’m sorry, but we currently do not have a clear timeline for Tow Mode. As you may have seen across the forum, our R&D team is focused on addressing some other major basic issues, and due to limited resources, we have had to reschedule the development plan for Tow Mode. We really appreciate your interest in this feature and have shared your strong desire for it with our product team. 9/28/25: Fall leaf drop has begun; please provide an ETA for Tow Mode feature update. Please forward the Back Brace Mount (BBM) and updated Tow Hitch in advance of awaiting the complete pre-ordered trimmer package to arrive so we can complete manually navigated tow-behind operations (aeration, overseeding, leaf sweeping, etc.) at the appropriate time of the season.
