I received the email reply from support
"Dear Customer,
Thank you for your patience!
We have manually re-enabled the Trimmer module on our end. Your Trimmer should now be recognized and ready to use. Please give it a try and let us know if you run into any further issues!"
after that my Trimmer started working.
Congrats, and welcome to the “Working Trimmer Club”!
I’ve already used mine a few times this week, setting up & refining Memory Paths.
I suggest purchasing thicker trimmer line, and learn to use the Memory Paths. They are perfect for getting the trimmer head where it needs to be.
They deployed the fix for me today too and it’s working again
Congrats!! Welcome to the Working Trimmer Club!
Hell yeah! That’s 3 of you (not including @bryan.wheeler )
I used mine a bunch today, nothing blew up so far.
I’ll be working with my trimmer later this afternoon to refine the memory paths. My goal is to make the paths as close to 100% reliable as possible while not skipping over anything that needs to be trimmed.
I just got my replacement core, remote techs completely bricked my previous one. When I first turned on the replacement the trimmer was recognized fine no issues. As soon as it installed the latest firmware update the trimmer is no longer recognized. So I guess I need to open a new ticket and hope they can apply this mysterious fix without bricking this core.
I will say the refurbished core they sent is pretty nice looking. Looks mostly new. Even has a big black plastic insert inside blocking all the wiring from just being out and visible.
Definitely submit a support ticket. Did you get the 3.13.15 update yet?
I have. Trimmer still not recognized on my end with the new update.
That’s disappointing that the latest hotfix doesn’t resolve the trimmer issue. I assumed that was included in the patch.
Hopefully they’ll get your trimmer going soon!
That’s really frustrating! Sorry to hear it. Very interesting that the latest firmware update made it disappear.
Once you open the ticket, post the ticket number here so @Yarbo-Forum can hopefully prioritize getting it resolved for you.
No I’m still on the .14 firmware.
I opened a ticket.
I hope this isn’t the latest Trimmergate widespread issue…
I will say it again, they need to start over on the software, it is too full of bugs…
Yep. We need YarboOS 2.0.
