# Use Rear Cameras to Know Tow Hitch is Attached

It was brought up in another thread that when the bot does a turn at an edge/corner of a mapped area, the hitch might scrape whatever is at that edge.
When attached, the tow hitch is clearly visable in the rear camera feed. It would be awesome if that can be used to compensate for extra length in the rear so it knows not to turn like that so close to the perimeter.

The rear mount supposedly has a switch to know something is installed. This should be leveraged. Far easier.

I didnt know it had that, but makes sense! There should definitely be something in the app to indicate when it’s connected - like the modules
