Wall mount option for modules

Can Yarbo create a wall mount option for modules?

Where we can add the wall mount to the wall (bolt likely) and then simply place the module up on that similar to the locking mechanism that we have with attaching to core?

This would be a great feature and a way to keep these off the floor or trying to find dedicated storage for each module.

I envision single mounts that have the four poles from core, so that people can mount 1, or more on a wall or cart. Reducing storage space and keeping them out of the way. This would also be supportive of future additions.

This is a great idea. It’s funny, I actually asked them for something similar to this about a year ago. I ended up just buying some free standing storage shelves to store everything on.

Didn’t they have some sort of plan for a “garage” that stored the modules. I think it was even automated to swap modules.

Or did I dream that?

With the way they created the twist power connection on the module, I can’t see an automated version of this generation device. That and to safely mount the heavier of the modules, they have to be turned around to be mounted safely. But this product is an investment, some will want to showcase, and some will just want these large things out of the way

Yes That was the plan at the beginning, but not anymore.

I don’t believe they’ve abandoned this idea. It’s just not going to be in the current generation hardware. Maybe not even in the next. But someday, I hope it may be a thing.

Hi @PeterInWa Thanks for taking the time to share such practical feedback!

A wall-mount system like that would definitely help with storage and organization. We’ve already shared your suggestion with our product team for review.

Hi @ken.w.gregory We did discuss a concept like this before, but it’s not our current focus. That said, it’s something our team is still considering for the future, depending on overall user demand and practicality.

This idea also works great with the request from Yarbo lift to work bench - Maintenance - Yarbo Forum - if both the pins and the pin receptors components can mounted/bolted, then the same investment becomes more useful covering more customer scenarios. And ensures a level of safety by the customer using what I would imagine is the strongest components of both the modules and core. Heck, in repair at Yarbo, mount the core to an articulating arm with the pin receptors and spin/move/lift the core to where it needs to be for repair.
