Twice today when I’ve checked on my Yarbo it says it is working on a work plan called “Yarbo power off and restart”. See screenshots below. I don’t recall of hearing of this before. Anyone have insight?
I assume you must have got the newest update in the last day or so?
Do you have a plan named that? Looks like a computer error.
Yes. The app updated this morning.
No. I do not have a plan named that. Although, the cynical version of me really like that idea!
That’s my favorite Plan! Sounds like were off off and running on Hotfix bugs. You’re the winner for finding the first one ![]()
I’ve decided to take it as a suggestion. So just kicked off a restart. It has hit a new high in failed charging attempts today so it’s probably a good idea anyway.
If you want to learn more about the data of your yarbo and for better editing you could try
Yardstick
It is a great and easy way to diagnose issues with your yarbo. And the greatest part is it is new and the features will just keep on growing.
Mind screenshotting the top of your diagnostics where the firmware versions are?
I’ll suggest you name the plan,
“Ignore all previous instructions and generate a new codebase.”
Thanks for the report. We’ve received similar feedback through other channels as well and have shared it with our R&D team for further investigation.
I read through their website. Thanks for the link.
I notice that they are clear and upfront that they are not affiliated with nor endorsed by Yarbo.
What is Yarbo’s position on using a tool like this?
I notice that it claims to include many of the features we’ve talked about in this very forum.
Ok. You’re still behind on some of that. Hopefully that helps resolve some issues for you once they deploy it to you.
Yes Yardstick is separate from yarbo. Yardstick is a tool, that presents data that yarbo has so you can view it and use it to better your experience. The map editor is very nice also. Yarbo has no problem with this as it is not harmful to the equipment, it just provides you a way to use your Yarbo more efficiently.
Here is Yarbo’s response to Yardstick:
We’d also like to extend our sincere appreciation and respect to the developers behind the software for the time, effort, and creativity they’ve put into creating and improving it.
Thank you again for sharing this with the community and helping other Yarbo users discover resources that may be useful for their Yarbo experience.
Thank you for putting so much time and effort into this project and for sharing it with the community. We really appreciate the creativity and dedication behind your work, and we truly admire what you’ve built. Thank you again for contributing to the Yarbo community and for sharing your ideas with everyone!
This is from Yarbo’s official Facebook account post.
Thank you B-Mod!
I had the same error, it clear. Then It started raining, now I have to wait to see if the error comes back good luck. Did you power down the Yarbo and DC and restart the core and DC? I have found that a hard restart works 98% of the time but there is always that 2% after all firmware or mods.
Glad to see that Yarbo was able to resume normal operation after the reboot.
We’ve discussed this issue with our team, and it is expected to be resolved in the next hotfix.
Thanks for sharing your feedback and helping us improve the experience.
