I started experiencing the same GPS signal issue, something I’ve never encountered last season on the spots that never had issues. It appears the antenna seal has failed and the top shell came off while twisting the Antenna for tight seal. Upon closer inspection, I noticed rust has formed inside the antenna. As @bryan.wheeler mentioned, it seems there may have been a bad batch of antennas manufactured with defective seals.
