Many users are asking and please consider adding a feature to allow the Yarbo Y, to park on its charging dock located under a shelter or inside.
The vision system or recorded tracking from the last point outside (where GPS drops out) should be able to be used as a hand over to allow the Yarbo to dock indoors.
Thanks for sharing the suggestion. We have received similar feature requests before, and we’ve already passed this idea along to our product team for further evaluation.
At the moment, this type of feature may require additional exploration and improvements within the vision system and related navigation logic, especially for situations where GPS signal is lost near indoor or sheltered docking areas.

Not just indoor, a charging station put next to a building will most likely have GPS issues.
Maybe having a GPS signal extender available to place inside the enclosed area so Yarbo doesn’t lose GPS signal? This would need to be powered by charging station to eliminate need for an additional power outlet.
Would not recommend that. A repeater will have the point of reference wherever the receiver is. It will also mess with the timing. Also anytime you are in range of the transmitter outside of the indoor space it’s going to mess with that GPS signal as well.
