Auto resume attempt after track slippage

I’ve been getting a few track slippage events recently, mostly due to mowing after or during a rain. It usually sends me notifications, which is great, but sometimes it takes me an hour or more to see it. And sometimes, all I have to do is hit “resume” and it is able to just continue where it left off, no manual adjustment needed.
It could be an option to attempt to continue again after a track slip event, say after 5 minutes. Then if that doesn’t work, try again 10 minutes later, then 20. Then probably wait, but if it was successful in continuing, it would save a lot of time waiting for me to notice it got stuck and investigate.

There are times when this is not a good thing because it tries too long as it is to get unstuck and digs the tracks into the ground. There have been instances where it has knocked the track off trying to unwedge itself. I think the pause is appropriate. Perhaps more frequent notifications and maybe text message notifications would be more useful to get people’s attention.

Agreed, I have some areas where it wouldn’t be a bad idea. If it gets implemented, a toggle per map area would be a good way to do it.
Better notifications would help alleviate the issue, but I think I would still have a use for an auto-resume feature myself
