Broken deflector cable

Your hall sensor or the motor itself probably has an issue and this would definitely have an impact on usability vs the cable breaking. With the cable broken, it would still line up appropriately inside to register for the sensor and the pulley would still move, etc. Sounds like in your case it probably isn’t moving or registering the location correctly and throwing the error.

I wish I could override the error and get some use out of the Yarbo while I’m waiting for a definitive solution.

Yeah I can understand that. Have you asked in your support ticket if it’s something they can escalate to the engineers to temporarily disable?

My original ticket was for a broken cable, which is en route. I responded to the ticket thread with a description of the updated behaviour, but haven’t heard back. I’m not sure if i’m being impatient or if the ticket was closed before that message got through. I should follow that up…

If your ticket was closed and you replied it would reopen it. Since it’s a separate issue you could open a new one and reference that ticket number.
