Failed to calculate route (WP005)

What is weird is the work plan worked perfectly until today…

Is it stopping on those dead ends or somewhere else?

It did not start at all

Ok so it was on the dock and would not start?

Yes, from the docking station, from different places, with different progression rates…nothing changes, it gives this error massage and does not start. The auto charging, meaning rover going back to the docking station, went well. It could calculate the path

Was the work plan you were telling it to run starting with any of those dead ends or which area was it trying to start? Also, what app and firmware versions are you on?

Yes, same map. Even this morning I sent yarbo on this work plan and I stopped it at 92% with no problem… I tried to finish this afternoon, … and always this error message. App: 3.18.3, Firmware: 3.13.3

The pic appears to show it on the charger, but not charging. Does the dock have power and is the rover positioned correctly?

Yes, it s charging currently

I will wait 100% and try again…

I will let you know the results.

Thank you very much for your support guys!

Ok guys, quick update…it went well !!! I found the road block…I still don’t know why but…in my area setting, I ve chosen spiral with path offset on. I do not know what path offset means but when I turn it off, it could calculate properly the route and go for mowing…When I turn it on, again, I have the error message WP005…I do not know if this working as expected but if not, I will continue with path offset off…Thanks again for your quick replies guys !!!

Hey that’s a great find! Glad you figured it out. You can read about path offset here.

Thanks a lot Bryan!

Ok, Path Offset is a nice feature, but it seems to create conflicting paths over time…

Which Area was the Path Offset causing the issue? You have some very narrow sections in your map. I’ll bet it was shifting outside the Area. Try reducing the Range Offset value when you have time to play with it.

If I were to make a guess, do you have NGZ boundary laps enabled?
Offset + that small gap + NGZ lap might be interesting.

Glad to hear you were able to resolve the issue. However, I’m not sure whether the Path Offset feature is directly related to the error.

If you’d like to further identify the root cause, please feel free to submit a support ticket so our team can investigate it further for you.

The biggest area is causing the issue. I might decrease the buffers, boundaries and no-go zones…may be it can help…

Sure, I can help. I can confirm that when the path offset is on…and I try to preview the route, I see the error message WP-005. When it is turned off, and I click on preview, no error message

Yesterday during the work plan Yarbo suddenly stopped with an error “Failed to calculate route. Please ensure the map is drawn according to the guide. (WP005)”

That happened mid-plan, so no changes to map or anything … after trying to resume the plan, got the same error so had to manually drive to dock and then restart the plan again (as the progress % was gone and I did not recall what it was)

Additionally later in evening while mowing another work plan, yarbo threw the same error while driving to continue the plan after recharge … that time hitting the continue button did the trick and yarbo continued with the plan.
