What impact will the FCC ban on foreign-made robots have on Yarbo if any? There are a bunch of news reports all over about this. Here is one example.

Yarbo is safe because it only applies to “advanced” robots. I kid…I kid…
Seriously, even though it’s stupid, it doesn’t affect existing robots, support or upgrades of existing robots, or continuing the lines of existing robots. So arguably, a manufacturer could just keep selling new robot versions under the existing names, or minor revisions of the existing names it appears.
I just came here to post about this.
It does sound as though this new ‘ban’ would disallow any future Yarbo models, unless they can get a waiver.
I sure hope some common sense gets added to these new rules. Otherwise, we can pretty much kiss any new robots goodbye. ![]()
