I would definitely open a ticket and if you can connect, I’d enable 4G if it isn’t already. I don’t usually suggest this, but you could also temporarily connect to your home WiFi if that helps you stay connected.
If the cable isn’t loose or pinched, certainly could be. DC could just need to be powered off for a while too.
I just disabled my Wi-Fi and I am able to communicate to it without any issue and give commands, however, I’m unable to use smart vision. I am suspecting something with my Wi-Fi set up making it Intermittent connections. I think Yarbo likes strong, consistent connection to Wi-Fi. I will check out my Wi-Fi and will connect to Rover network back to the Wi-Fi and will report back.
No better feeling to look at this while we are in Florida 78F degrees. We mind as well name him “Kevin” He is truly home alone right now!
Glad to see it working!! Congrats and enjoy the sun in Florida!
Our battery freezes while we wait for the chute to defrost because the chute freezes at anything below minus 5.. we’ve had 9 snow storms.. and only got to use it four times as the chute froze.. took it inside to defrost.. while it did, the battery froze.. hooked it up.. and by time battery defrosted the chute froze again and its only minus 10 celsius. We have temperatures going to minus 20.. time to put the yarbo away until the warm weather comes so it can not freeze and snowblow the snow that won’t exist in warm weather. Basically the yarbo snowblower module.. is a failed entity.
I found out it’s better for it to be sitting on the dock outside cold. It does move its parts bit here and there time to time to prevent freeze. I had similar issue when temperature was going from above freezing into freezing temps, but now it’s solid frozen outside and there aren’t any water that will freeze over, and I’ve stopped bringing it inside garage to “thaw”
This doesn’t sound right. The chute shouldn’t freeze like that. Do you have an open ticket? If so, drop the ticket number here so the forum moderator can follow up on it for you.
There is an open ticket. 146649 Its multiple issues in one ticket. Bdcause it literally went from one issue to another. in fact, every issue but a few, it went through in 4 hours yesterday.
It’s normal for the battery to drop in this situation. As Bryan mentioned, even when Yarbo is not actively working, there are still systems running in standby—such as GPS, heaters, and other onboard electronics—that consume power.
Also, glad to hear that you were able to resolve the connection issue ![]()
