Windows Companion App

Logging into the cameras and driving around would be awesome with a stitched together 360° landscape vs the boxed view so you could look around the yard.

Hi there—thanks for the suggestion! We understand a native Windows companion app would be very convenient, especially for larger-screen monitoring, notifications, and keyboard/mouse control. Due to limited development resources, this isn’t something we can prioritize in the short term. That said, we’ve noticed strong interest from many users and have added your request to our feature list. We really appreciate your feedback!

Anyone else try LDPlayer?

Tim

I’ve never heard of it. I know a lot of people using BlueStacks and it’s basically the same thing and cross platform. That’s what I use and load the Android app. Since it runs on MacOS and you can load the iPad app on MacOS, I can have two apps open on my computer at the same time.

I can’t run the installer on my Dell PC with Snapdragon processor. I get this message when trying to install. I have tried quite a few of the available download versions…

Well that’s disappointing. I wonder if LDPlayer will have the same limitations.

Yeah, I’m finding that it does!

Looks like a common problem with snapdragon processors. There are some work arounds. I can’t vouch for their viability, stability, or safety. Google around if you’re interested. It’s a problem with the Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA).

Thanks Bryan. Those things matter more to me than having a gaming emulator for Yarbo right now. I think I’ll wait till Yarbo either has a solution, or proposes a third party app.

Yeah native apps seem to always work better than trying to shoe horn in some sort of emulation at least that has been my experience.

I had an old version of BlueStacks installed. When I started it last night, it updated. When I ran the update I got the same message. I uninstalled BlueStacks. Went to their site and found they have both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Installed 64-bit version 5 and it ran fine. Then I installed Yarbo app and it worked also. Using Windows 11 on an old Microsoft laptop.
