You show a man standing on the Yarbo - reminding me that during the snow my Yarbo had issues with snow plow due to a lack of weight, so I would add a bit of weight with a foot, or push with foot. So, could we add a chair for someone to sit on the unit to improve traction? On the same idea, can we add weight to the yarbo for added traction.
Yeah, they shouldn’t show people standing on it. I think a chair is probably not in scope. But, adding weight is commonly done by users and Yarbo has said that they are actively working on a weight kit of some sorts.
Way back when, I used to let my young daughter sit on top of my first robot mower as I manually drove it around the yard (with the blades off).
I wish I had pictures or videos of that. Sure brings back memories.
Adding a chair mount for Yarbo isn’t something we’re currently considering. However, your idea about increasing weight to improve traction is absolutely valid — and it’s something we’re already working on.
Appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts!
I think a chair is a safety concern and may damage Yarbo
Those RTK and HaLow antennas don’t like being kicked by feet. Not to mention the potential loss of GPS signal from the extra mass/metal/etc.
Along with everyone else here, most people buy Yarbo so they don’t have to do their outdoor property maintenance, not so they can sit on a unit. As for extra weight, especially for the lighter m series trying to plow, a 250+lbs is probably what’s needed, ideally in 20lb pieces to be easily moved by almost anyone and inexpensive as retired dumbbells or similar could just be reused.
