For those who are having a problem with yarbo mower or snow blower on slopes, especially steeper slopes, here is a counterweight solution. It puts the weight where it has the most effect without sticking out too far; only as far as the tow hitch. it is low so keeps the machine centre of gravity low. it spreads the weight across the width of the rover so no problem for side slope stability. it does not obstruct the rear cameras so vision system still works as designed. my slopes are steep, approx 25% grade, so the weight is approximately 18lbs (8kg); this weight is just enough to keep the machine flat when trying to stop or back uphill. for the yarbo with a towing capacity of 500lbs, the standard value for hitch weight should be 10% of that, i.e. 50lbs. the 18lbs is well within the recommended hitch weight for towing a trailer.
I guess Yarbo is not aware about the tow hitch when turning and easily can hit trees, stones, walls, bushes in near no go zones.

I have steep hills (approx 32° to 34°) and interested in trying this configuration.
the weight is a 20 lb ‘ruck weight’. bought it off amazon. i took a side grinder with a cutoff blade and trimmed the back. drilled two holes for mounting on the tow hitch.
I’d be concerned with it backing into things as well. What are you seeing?
no problem backing up; it does touch objects, but no hard hits noticed to date. will update if i see different. correction: the maximum slope on my lawn is 43% (25°)
