After firmware update battery only charges to 73%
This has been a common issue for some before the firmware update. To fix it, unplug your battery for 4 hours. This should reset the BMS and let it charge to 100%.
As Bryan suggested, please try unplugging the battery for about 4 hours and then reconnecting it to see whether this resolves the issue.
If the battery still only charges to 73% after this step, we recommend contacting our support team so they can further investigate and assist you.
Unplugging had helped reset, but it’s happened 3 times over the past month. Is this something that’s to be expected to keep happening?
@Greg Unplugging the battery is part of the calibration process and can help reset the battery reading. This may be needed occasionally and isn’t unexpected. However, if you’re seeing this happen frequently, we recommend submitting a support ticket so our team can investigate further and make sure everything is working as expected.
I found stopping and restarting charging worked for me.
