API Access

Yeah I just loaded, need to play around with it. Noticed lots of sensors actually, but they do not appear to be reporting correctly. Have not dared yet to flip any switches. My hope is that I can use it to perform some more intelligent returns and continues…

I tried it and activated almost all the sensors, and it really seems well thought out and well structured.

I tried with an MQTT reader, but it doesn’t find anything, even though it agrees to connect. Maybe I don’t have the right context to see what’s inside.
Seriously, for me, this is a huge improvement!

I’ve only had problems and had to completely replace the snowblower module four times, but now with the good weather finally returning and the snow almost melted, I won’t be able to see the results with the snow anymore, but I’ll play around with it for the grass and the patrol  Thank you so much for letting us see this locally, it’s really appreciated! Thanks, guys!
Could you add an option to reboot the RTK? That would be great, thanks!

HEY hello everybody
no other pople test this mqtt access ?

This one looks good, there is location sensor, current activity, so you can open the gate if yarbo is approaching and perform other automations.
I am not expecting all sensors from Yarbo robot, just main sensors like location, current status, remaining work and maybe option for dynamic work plan generation (best option or manual creation of multiple plans for each scenario) and triggering option - for example to exclude blowing areas occupied by cars etc.

Update: This integration looks not fully functional now. During the Plan only location and battery data was changing, all other sensor stayed unchanged.

Yes, it’s great that you’ve opened almost everything up!

It’s missing the BMS, the gyroscope, and what would be really fantastic is the RTSP stream. With that, we could easily record what’s happening and use motion detectors in relation to the RTSP. We could also use it as a mobile camera on a large property to detect people or vehicles approaching. Honestly, that would be amazing! Even if someone tries to steal it, we could have proof because of the movement of the gyroscope and the camera, which would be evidence for the police.

Hi, do you know anything about this? Is there going to be a new release soon? Can we ask Markus directly? If so, how?rgds Jörg

I would recommend using Yarbo’s HA integration.
