Auger not working!!!

Will this work?

Is this the belt you found on Amazon?

I believe it is.

Bryan help me out here. I don’t know how to find my way back to the other thread and I’m not home right now to look at the belt. Can you confirm this is the correct one please.

That looks right to me. Please double check specs I posted above.

Anyone having any success receiving a replacement belt? I opened my ticket #151215 a week ago and have seen no sign of a replacement belt being shipped.

Have you followed up with support on the status? Hopefully the forum admin can check on it for you.

Yes, It says it has been escalated to level 1 but I haven’t heard anything from the technical team. The response to my latest inquiry for an update said

“Thank you for your patience. I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I’ve been working closely with our team to find a solution for the wheel overheating error.”

But I have a shredded belt and only asked to be sent a replacement belt. So I’m getting frustrated that it hasn’t even shipped.

@Yarbo-Forum can you check on the shipping status for Mark?

sorry to hear the delayed shipping happened to you. my first replacement (core) was also delayed and so frustrated; then 2nd replacement (S1 due to the shredded belt) cannot be delayed. From my first bad experience, I “strongly” asked Yarbo to ship next-day delivery option for S1 and it was delivered quick (within 2 or 3 days). That was about a month ago. The current Winter Storm Fern made all shipping delayed. hope you get your belt sooner!

It’s time for Yarbo to send replacement belt for every Yarbo snowblower owner. Yarbo as a company should know amount of frustration, loss of productivity and safety issues this is causing. Time for a recall!

I received my replacement belt and pulley today. Contents of package in attached pictures.

Close inspection of the replacement pulley reveals that the “walls” are seperate pieces that appear to be press fit onto the pulley core, and then the pulley core crimped/pressed/stamped over to hold the sidewalls on.
right out of the package there is play in both side walls of the pulley just using my finger tips. I do not think that it is going to hold up very long once I get it installed later this week. I am curious what the motor will reveal in terms of undue wear and/or excessive play once I get it unmounted.
I will share updates when I undertake the the actual replacement; still waiting for formal confirmation from Yarbo that I am not voiding my warranty by taking this apart to replace the belt and pulley.

If they sent it to you, then you are not. But good for you wanting that in writing! Good luck and please do keep us posted. Hopefully your issue is similar to @laudav1285 where the nut was very loose and that’s why it failed. Perhaps it will all tighten up when properly secured.

Fingers crossed for you! Hopefully it’ll be an easy install and this will be the last of the problems with your S1.

Please share. Yarbo should have sent instructions with the parts. They did Not with mine either. I found that the spacer had to go on the pulley closest to the motor. Otherwise the pulley contacts the motor support housing.

Good luck. Mine seems fine ( so far ) after the fix.

@Yarbo-Forum support closed my original ticket regarding the shredded belt and damaged motor pulley before this was all resolved. I have opened another ticket #159590 seeking further information and clarification on how to proceed with installing the replacement parts I have received. If you could nudge that ticket along to the proper people to address the concerns I presented, I would appreciate it. This process has been very slow, frustrating and convoluted for a brand new piece of equipment. My charity and good humor are approaching their limits…

My pulley has what I deem significant deflection in one of the sidewalls. On full outward deflection, I can place 2 thicknesses of 28# copier paper between the end of the splines and sidewall (see the attached picture). I can press inward on that sidewall and achieve no space between the spline ends and the sidewall. Because the pulley/sidewalls are made out of aluminum, I can’t really picture this playing out well with a belt around the pulley at tension, under load, running at speed. I am half tempted to 3D scan the pulley and have my brother CNC a replacement out a solid block of aluminum or even better, titanium.
