Yarbo snowblower auger broke a belt. Nothing out of ordinary, driveway was icy, and few chunks got in there and broke the belt, belt seems to be very strong, but not sure why it broke that easily. It also broke few shear pins, but I was able to replace them. I had to get local hose/belt shop make me one temporarily and it is holding up ok.
I have contacted the Yarbo customer service. Without video and photo of my wife, they will not bulge sending replacement belt.
Do you guys know where I can just buy the belt to bypass Yarbo’s Customer Service shenanigans? My Yarbo is 2025 model, not sure if that makes difference.
Hi there, I’m really sorry to hear about the issue you’re running into.
I’d like to clarify that the reason we request photos or videos is that they’re required to properly verify the issue and initiate a replacement through our support process. This helps us make sure the correct parts are provided and that the case is handled accurately.
For reference, the belt used on the snow blower auger is an S5M-25-515 timing belt. I hope this information helps, and please feel free to reach out if you have any other question
Mine broke on it’s 1st attempt clearing 1” of snow. Not only the belt broke, but also the plastic gears leaving the module useless. I have a ticket in and waiting to hear decision as well. I do have have pictures, but not of the wife.
I just looked further. Yes, gears are metal, it appears the belt broke. I haven’t heard back any solution from support. Does anyone know exact part number that I can purchase on Amazon or elsewhere?
