battery drains rather fast. It will be good to have either easily replaceable battery spare or battery extension somehow mounted on the rear of the bot to double the capacity!
Hi there, Thank you for your suggestion. We understand that extending battery life can help improve efficiency. I’ll be sure to share your thoughts with the relevant team for their consideration.
It would also be great to add a solar panel as an option to the unit.
- Protect the battery from heat.
- Charge the battery while blower is operating to extend run time too
I had to do this solar fan so it doesn’t loose 1-2 hours a day just to cool down to charge, now I have no more heating issues. A bit ugly? - YES!!!, but it’s not going to any robo pageant anytime soon.
Love this!
Thankfully we don’t need to worry about overheating batteries any time soon…. ![]()
Although now that I think about it, I’d rather have nice warm summer weather right about now.
Today first time Yarbo cleared my driveway without my involvement, I found out secret temperature for it to work efficiently outside is below 28F. Wasn’t much of a snow, but I’m happy ![]()
Congrats on the successful Yarbo run!
It’s a really good feeling watching your driveway get cleared while you’re inside the house nice and warm!
Not really very nice of to throw snow on your ring camera though.
But congrats on the clean driveway.
Heck yeah!!! Well done ![]()
I had to mess with snow throwing directions and Auger speed to get it just perfect now it is optimized without too much of an extra movement and all is done without recharging. My driveway is about 200 foot long.
