Bumper stops working

Same here. I have NGZ around nearly all of my trees. It’s about an 80/20 success. If I use vision my yard is a nightmare of cleanup and rescues. I do have a couple things it certainly bumps in to I did not put an NGZ on. I still have my old bumper, I will tear into it. Wearing out seems unlikely. I also believe it some intrusion.

Seems pretty sealed, so far only removed from the metal bracket. There is rtv around where the wire goes in.

On inspection I would initially had to agree with Bryan, maybe wear. Everything was well sealed with RTV. Further in at the center it was wet though

It’s an interesting contraption, kind of wandered how it worked. There was certainly moisture in it, no grass. Never really found a water intrusion point though. Unfortunately never found a reason. My curiosity kept me from doing some electrical tests though.

Well, that’s usually not a good mix. So water is getting in somewhere. I’ll autopsy mine when the new one comes and report back.

Looks like I got upgraded bumper

version today. Not quite sure how it mounts yet. Ha! Anyone know what these are?

Updating ticket to reflect part received.

That is the rear bumper of the core.

You should have sent a video, lol.

Oh no! They sent you the rear bumper instead of the front bumper??!!

I cannot locate the relevant ticket in our system to follow up on this for you.

Support just responded that they will ship the correct part. #216376

That’s good. Hopefully it arrives soon.

And now you also have a spare rear number should you ever need it.

Ha! If I need a rear bumper it’s a bad day
