Dead end

After almost a year I still have this problem… when driving forward it veers towards the perimeter wall but when reversing it doesn’t… it should go straight.

Hard to tell without watching the screen recording of the app where it is in relation but I assume that the “veer” is it entering the dead end? I feel like this is to be expected. Typically you want the entrance of dead ends to be far away from any obstacles because it can come at the entrance from any angle depending on where it is when the previous task stops in relation to where it needs to start the dead end task.

No, Yarbo shouldn’t be able to swerve because I hit it straight in the alley… in mid-June 2025 when it arrived, it could handle dead ends perfectly, but it shouldn’t have stopped in a transverse direction and turned around…

must run the track as when it returns in the first video

the yarbo should follow the dead ends as they were created and not go where he wants… like the paths

Agreed, but even pathways it does what it wants. Hence this suggestion:

I really like your suggestion. If they gave the option as you say whether to follow the path rigorously or not, it would be fantastic. I would like it as it was when it arrived in June 2025.

Very good suggestion.

Somehow I had missed when you originally suggested it, but I voted for it now.

I opened a ticket…let’s see what they tell me…I mentioned what you told me…I’ll let you know their response.

This morning, Italian time, a very kind member of the Yarbo team did a test drive with my Yarbo and discovered that it doesn’t start from the dead-end starting point as it should. Now he’s passing it on to the technicians. Maybe that’s why it deviates at the start.

That’s good. Some progress. Hopefully they figure out what the root cause is.
