Has anyone tried using a GPS repeater in areas with weak signals?
Would not recommend it. It only repeats the signal from the location of the GPS repeater itself, and it messes with the timing. You will end up with inaccurate coordinates. The Rover will do unpredictable things as it gets satellite signals for multiple locations. I recommend increasing your PPVS settings and increments of 5 feet at a time and see if that helps. You can do that during an active plan when it’s paused. Just slide it forward a few feet and it should continue moving.
How about a 2nd fixed RTK receiver. (non Data Center)
They don’t currently support multiple DC’s. But they are working on using the cameras more for thr GPS trouble areas as well as testing higher gain RTK antennas. How are your CNR values on your DC?
I will have to update you once I get back home. I’m going to increase my PPVS Drawing values this weekend and remap areas on my driveway that have dropped out. Driveway is approx. 200’ and slightly covered by Pine trees. Those pesky needles.
Definitely do let us know how it goes.
