Hahaha
This makes me feel good! How fast have you seen things go from mentioned to implemented?
I’m 3 months in so I have seen 1 firmware update, 1 app update along with a hot fix for each after we all got out there and ran our plans and various tests.
Do you have any ideas on how we can increase the pressure? You speak from my technical heart. Jörg
Would love to see this happen. Come on Yarbo!
Yeah after integrating my little charging notification system ( HomeAssistant + Yarbo? ) I realized there are tons of quality of life things we could work on and crowd source. I think even if there was a “closed source” version and we apply to a developer account to get access we could all work together on things we feel passionate about. The weather scheduling, app notifications, etc all could easily be solved by us easily and Yarbo can basically wash it’s hands of it, and also add that “works with homeassistant” badge!
I just came across this:
I was just about to post/ask about that if anyone has tried it
It works pretty well. I can get area/path/sidewalk data, but what I really want is a way to create those shapes.
Wow! I’m just seeing this for the first time. Great starting point.
The Yarbo HA integration is live!
I saw elsewhere this “isn’t our official release” which sounds like it’s not fully baked and ready for end users. Use with caution.
I read this as this wasn’t them. I would definitely urge caution. It looks like a fork of the one Markus made just based on the readme. But now that I see the SDK there as well, it could be them and just not ready for primetime use yet. I would still urge caution until release is finalized and they confirm that it is their account.
It’s a mower!
It’s a blower!
It’s a bitcoin miner!
Handy!
Joke is on them, I changed the wallet address to my own. SUCKERS!
Anyone run it through Claude code or some other AI looking for anything nefarious?
Thanks for your interest in Yarbo HA integration—we really appreciate it!
This is indeed an official Yarbo integration, but it hasn’t been formally released yet. We’re still finalizing things to ensure it’s ready for a smooth user experience.
We’ll make an official announcement once everything is fully ready—thanks for your patience in the meantime!
I’m not an expert on this, but I can’t find any signs that the code was copy or forged.
It also works differently from Markus’s version, since it uses Yarbo’s credentials and doesn’t rely on anything related to the local LAN network.
It seems also to function smoothly and properly.
Maybe @Yarbo-Forum could confirm if it’s official or not.
Thanx to confirming this ![]()
Well I stand corrected. It is Yarbo. Sounded like a scary fork at first.
