API, SDK, and official HomeAssistant support have been formally announced by Yarbo, and are targeted for release next month!
They also announced an add on called ‘CoreBridge’ that will allow for switched voltage output for user created devices (think 12v sprayers, etc). This is not expected for release until 2027.
Great news. Looking forward to proper home assistant integration next month. “Targeted” in one person’s mind sets the “expected” in another person’s mind.
They referenced DC 2.0 at 40 mins mark. What’s the timing on Data Center 2.0 for Y platform?
I’m about to hire someone to install the DC I purchased several weeks ago (assuming it’ is 1.0). Hate to pay to have DC 1.0 installed only to have 2.0 released a couple weeks later.
I’d imagine around August when he M launches. You will be able to do the home automation integration with the 1.0 as well. While there are some good upgrades to the Y series DC, it will still support the Y series for everything they announced.
