Idea for Attachment

So I don’t know if there would be a huge demand for something like this, but my property is in the middle of a pretty heavily wooded lot. The most of the outer perimeter of my yard is made of general brush, thorn/wild raspberry vines, and the like. Keeping the yard mowed, keeps the vines from spreading, but not the ones in place from reaching out into the yard. Would it be possible to basically make a sickle bar style attachment in the same vane as the trimmer attachment that would basically be like a vertical one sided hedge trimmer bar? The idea being that as the Yarbo runs the perimeter of the property it could run the sickle bar to trim back vines and bushes so that the don’t creep out into the yard. Obviously there’d need to be a way to control the angle to taper out or set it to vertical as the Yarbo travels and tilts to match the ground, so maybe it’s at best ambitious…

Just a thought…

Really appreciate your thoughtful suggestion. While we won’t be considering this type of attachment in the short term, we truly thank you for sharing the idea—it’s a creative concept and has definitely given us some inspiration for future possibilities.
