Improve Blowing algo - factor in the pile of leaves it needs to move

Since I can’t split the direction of my yard to have half of the leaves blow to one side and the other half go to the other side, and since I have to remember to run the blower daily (since there isn’t a scheduling function, what?), can Yarbo improve the algorithm so that it can go faster and have wider spacing at the beginning of the area it clears, and progressively go slower and have tighter overlaps? This would help with the ever increasing size of the leaves it’s trying to clear as it goes across a 350’ yard. This is needed even more in areas where the paths run perpendicular to each other. Yarbo needs to consider that all of those leaves are going to get pushed into one small part of the rest of the yard.

I would also love to see a setting to allow a lower blowing speed initially, then ramp it up as the area is cleared and the number of leaves continues to increase.

Hello Greg,

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback and suggestions. We truly appreciate your thoughtful input — you’ve raised some very good points.

We understand there’s still room for improvement with the blower, and our team is actively working on enhancing both its performance and user experience.

Your request regarding the scheduling feature has already been forwarded to our product team for review.

As for your other suggestions — such as optimizing the blowing algorithm for speed, spacing, and overlap — we’ll also share these with the product team for further consideration.

Thank you again for helping us make Yarbo better. Your feedback plays an important role in shaping our future updates.
