I have lots of trails through my woods. I like to walk them barefoot. I would like to leafblow the trails to remove leaves, acorns , and small twigs. How would I map them? Should I map narrow areas along the trails, or map an area at the far end and have paths along the trails? The trails are about 4’ wide. How narrow can a blower area be? Are there other issues I will encounter?
Hi Willy, welcome to the Community. Personally,
I would map an area in the far end and lay the pathway so Yarbo can blow the trail on its way to that area.
Honestly, with dense tree cover and a far reach form your house, I’d just do it manually. Especially if you’re doing them now, you won’t have any leaves until the fall, and a leaf blower isn’t going to remove sticks. Between now and the fall you can experiment a bit more, but that’s my suggestion.
Welcome to the Yarbo Forum!
You might try Kolbe’s suggestion—mapping a target area and using Pathways along the trails.
If Waypoints were available for the blower, pathways could be used more easily. Something like sidewalks would be even better.
yes it will if you have made an area on the trails. I use waypoint to drive on pathways with a farm rake then Yarbo stops when it gets to the area at the end of the pathway. but that is not necessary with the blower on. there it can just drive to the small area at the end of the pathway and go back after.
