A neighbor asked me how many miles my Yarbo had mowed, and it took me a while to do the math on my 2-1/2 acres, but I came up with an estimate. About 350 acres plus or minus.
But Yarbo knows exactly how far its traveled and how many acres (depending on it’s overlap setting) it’s mowed.
So just give us miles (or km) and acres (or hectares) depending on region. EV’s operate this way, and Yarbo is just a small EV.
Yeah that would be an easy next step, to include a greasing interval and a cleaning interval.
But not only an hour meter, when your neighbor (who might be looking at getting a Yarbo!) asks you how long your bot mowed, 350 hours sounds not nearly as good as 200 miles, at least in my book.
So an odometer, like an EV, and acres mowed, and also if possible an hour meter. This is more like a self driving car, than a farm tractor after all!
Hi Tim — thanks for the suggestion. We’ve received similar requests before, and I’ll share your interest in mileage (mi/km) and area (acres/hectares) reporting with our product team again.
Oh, ok, I’ve seen requests for maintenance reminders, but I search on suggestions and features and could find no request for miles, acreage or km at all. Since Yarbo is just an EV at core (get the pun) it seemed natural to include mileage or acreage (or both) as a metric. Not to mention telling me when to grease and clean, etc…
