Just wanted to note that Yarbo is still having issues with no go zones. This happened yesterday while I was away, it almost took out my young sweet cherry tree that’s fenced around. Yarbo plowed right through the fence and no go zone then got stuck in the hog wire fencing lol. Just happy it didn’t take out my tree!
I just thought it might be helpful to know this issue is still happening, for me at least.
I’m sorry to hear about this issue. I will pass the feedback to our team once again. As Bryan mentioned, you can also submit a support ticket so our team can further investigate it.
This kind of thing is exactly what Hot Fixes should be issued for. Not respecting NGZs is a major safety risk. People have been posting pics of these routing errors for a couple months now. Has the cause been identified, and when is it being fixed?
My yarbo was out mowing today and around 4:15 to 4:45 p.m. it went into a no-go Zone that it has never gone into, it has in the past only gone around many times without going into it, well today it for some reason went into the no go zone and sucked up a giant rock out of the ground I’m not even sure how it even pulled it out of the ground because the rock was 90% buried it’s about the size of a small bowling ball or grapefruit and then it was driving around grinding up the rock stuck under the mower deck and now the blades are all damaged and one of the motors is making a weird sounds and I don’t think it’s working on one side now. I know I just got firmware update, and this is the first time it’s gone out mowing since it got the update but I don’t understand why it even goes into the no go zones at all, this is unacceptable I need warranty service for this mower deck now…
I don’t understand why it went in there it has never gone in that no go Zone before. Though it has gone in others and cause damage to my vehicle when it had the snow blower attachment on.
I tried opening a ticket from within the app and it keeps failing per usual, I sent an email to support and after sales support. I need serviceasap please, this is the only mower I have right now and we are in the middle of summer, lawn grows fast.
Sorry this happened. Did you notice if it had GPS when this happened? Maybe it clipped an antenna on something and PPVS took over and let it go there. There also seems to be a bug where it calculates a path like through some no go zones. Did you see this at all in the app? Make sure you take photos, videos, etc and note the times for support. You could also try calling, might yield a faster response.
I’m not sure about the map calculating a start or stop in the no go zone, it had gps it had a clear view of the sky and the antennas are fine, not damaged. I sent it out to mow but I wasn’t babysitting it, I didn’t catch the map calculator as i panicked and quickly hit the emergency stop. I was out back in the excavator working on the new patio while it was out mowing. I looked at my phone as I was getting Yarbo alerts about multiple collisions, so I walked out front and it sounded like my Yarbo was squealing and grinding up metal and it was just backing up a foot and moving forward a foot over and over, so I hit the emergency stop and tipped it on its side to find a grapefruit sized rock all chipped up “granite” too.
So I cleaned up the built up grass, it appears to be the side up in the air that got damaged. It doesn’t look bad in the picture but the blade is beat up and that side motor makes a terrible squealing sounds and appears to not rotate so well now.
I sent it back out to finish and that side of the deck is leaving taller uncut grass behind.
I’m going to have to pickup a push mower at Lowe’s tomorrow morning until I can get this fixed.
I did email support, if I don’t hear from them I’ll try calling. Thank you.
