Started getting random collision errors when there’s nothing around. It usually seems to happen right after it leaves the dock. I get a couple when it’s traveling to the area, then works correctly once it starts cutting. I’ve visually inspected the bumper and don’t see anything obvious. How does the bumper sensor work? Troubleshooting suggestions are welcome.

I think you can run with the bumper disconnected. But don’t use gentle touch…
Thank you kind sir. I use Gentle Touch almost everywhere, but that’s the link I was looking for to troubleshoot. If the errors stop, I’ll know it’s the bumper sensor. If they continue… not good.
Finally got back this issue as it had progressively gotten worse until it couldn’t leave the dock due to a permanent collision. I disconnected the sensors. And error did not reappear. Opened a ticket for bumper replacement. I lost the swivel wheel bearings and the bumper in the first season. But, I’m still on my first core, so I have that going for me 
Received the replacement bumper in 3-days! Maybe the delay for replacement parts has turned the corner
