Rover question

Hi all, I’m a French Yarbo rookie ! And have a little question about the little chain and hook under the river. What is it ?. Thank you . Lp

It is for static discharge. It drags the ground and discharges any static buildup.

And welcome to the Yarbo community!

Mine ripped off during the first run, found it brand new lying in the grass, because it was so shiny.

How important do you reckon it is?

All that movement I’m sure generates a good amount of static electricity. I’d say somewhat important.

I worked with a robotics high school team a few years back. Turns out they are pretty important. Lots of weird, unexpected behavior without it. At least at the robot competitions. I’d replace it if it was my Yarbo.

I don’t see it for sale on the store so I would work with support to get a replacement.

As I mentioned, I have it lying around somewhere on my workbench, will try to reattach it.
