Just today my Yarbo has begun to stop every 3 seconds, wait 2 seconds, back up an inch and then proceed again for 3 seconds. It sends me a message that yarbo is trying to get unstuck. WTF
I have no idea what is going on.

It is most likely the vision issue and dirty camera lens. To fix it set all mowing areas for the “gentle contact”. The vision feature is not still unfortunately ready to be used. To get the most autonomous mowing experience, what is still not really autonomous you can’t use the cameras for mowing. Would be also wise to slow down Tarbi from the main settings the Yarbos moving speed. “slowest” is maybe an overkill but “slow” will do just fine. In any other more speedier settings Yarbo will damage the trees, flowerbed fence etc. Been there done that.
Thanks. I began mowing again this morning and so far it seems ok. Yesterday the darn thing stopped and would not budge. I even was unable to move it using my phone app. I let it sit in the shade where it stopped (how do you move that beast by hand?) for an hour or so and was able to drive it back to charging station using the app. I am wondering if heat was an issue I am on the space coast of Florida and the afternoon heat was in excess of 95 degrees. I started early this morning and so far so good. Thanks again for your reply and helpful advice.

Assuming there’s nothing in the tracks and they are greased, Next time try pulling the battery cable for 5 mins and see if that helps.
Tracks are good and I greased yesterday. The battery cable is good advice. I rebooted but did not pull cable.
Thanks

Im in fl as well mine kept doing this and also overheating and not charging correctly untill it cools down.
Shutting down the Yarbrough from the app and then turning it back on usually would make it work for me my casters also just wore out causing it to constantly get stuck in the yard
Joe,
Thanks for your reply. I am happy that I am not the only one experiencing this problem. I began mowing this morning at 7:30 and at 10:14 it continues to mow properly with no problems. I really think that heat could a be factor in my Yarbo caring up yesterday.
Btw I am on Merritt Island near Kennedy Space Center. Where are you in Florida?
Ken
Im in central fl avon park. My yarbo is handling six acres.
Just this morning I found out the casters on the front of the mower are completely wore out. It’s been a struggle but it’s doing it
I bet those casters can be replaced from ace hardware. Yarbo does not make casters but buy them from a supplier. With 6 acres you must be running Yarbo every day. Have you ever run it at night? I have and the first time it drove my dog nuts as he could see the lights out in the yard.
Good luck and stay in touch with your progress.

I began mowings at 7:30 this morning and all went well until about 10:45 when it began the lurching routine. I am sending it back at 46% battery to recharge. I expect that I will not be able to use it again until this evening when things cool off. Supposed to rain late this afternoon so maybe won’t mow again until tomorrow morning.
Ken
Just out of curiosity, open the diagnostics and see what the battery temperature shows.
Battery temp at 38 just changed to 39 as charging. I believe the battery temp does, indeed, effect the charging issues but am not certain why my rover begins lurching after three hours in the heating day. I will bet that if I left it to mowing even with the lurching it would finally stop like it did yesterday.
I may begin mowing later today — depends on the rain. After all, it is Florida in the summer time.
Thanks for your reply.

I wonder if it’s mechanical. @bryan.wheeler, @Ken, @Steve, @AnyoneWithALongHistoryWithYarbo, Any recollections of bearing issues? That Florida sand gets in every nook and cranny… and in equipment too.
Yes. One user on FB pointed out that the narrow slit in the casters got full of dust/dirt and began to cause the wheels stick a bit. It was a little over a month ago, I think.
Brian Blank has a post on Yarbo Users and Community dated June 21:
My Yarbo mower maintenance kit. I have 6 acres so I am cleaning and replacing bladesevery few days.
The most useful tool is that little titan scraper tool. Gets the clipping buld up offf and can be used as a flathead to tighten the blade screws.
The lube is for the caster wheels that get jammed up with dirt due to my dusty conditions.
There was another earlier post with more detail, not sure where it is, but it also mentioned about dust getting into the casters.
I feel like the lurching might be software related. It is possible it could be obstacle avoidance if cameras are in play here. If gentle contact, then probably not that.
@kmurray6113 hopefully you have a ticket on this with some times you can post in there that it was doing it so they can pull the logs and take a deeper look. Please post you ticket number here so @Yarbo-Forum can follow up on it for you.
You can clean the casters, but they really do cake up. I have to spray them off every few days and put some dry lube on them. My 6 acres are very dusty. The casters are not maintenance free unfortunately.
Thanks Bryan. My ticket number is 98850. I tried mowing this evening after the storm and it was a cool 80 degrees F but the lurching continued. I just checked on it and it seemed confused so I directed it back to charging. It could not find its way back so I am going out now to run it back manually.
