Wow. Another broken belt. Sorry to see it happen to you!
Ok. So this has gotta be either a bad batch of belts, or a physical assembly issue. It will be very interesting to see if the problem persists once you install your old good belt.

The snow has been drifting a lot and it still insists on zero turning, but it’s been doing it mostly successfully..so my guess is it’s getting pushed in the sides
The only thing I noticed on the motor drive pulley there was a little polished line worn but that could have just been as the belt was disintegrating it starting to slip before finally breaking. My money is on a bad batch of belt or bad tensioning
Let’s hope it’s that easy of a fix. Simple field repairs.
Hmmm. I can’t say mine isn’t that way as well because it never occurred to me to pop off S1 and look inside. There hasn’t been a need too. And with the general lack of snow have been keeping it defrosted in the garage. No snow in sight and I have a replacement coming.
No snow apparently reduces the number of sheer pins you need on hand. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Facts
Seriously. I bought a pack of spare sheer pins, and now we have no snow in the forecast at all.
Does this mean if I bought myself a new winter coat it would magically be 80° here in Michigan?? I really should test that!
Yarbo sells winter coats and shear pins… Just sayin. ![]()
Same. And @bryan.wheeler I’ll buy the damn coat.
Ok. So it’s settled then.
We’re all buying winter coats so we get some nice warm weather and I can put the lawing mowing module back on my Yarbo! ![]()
Lol. I mowed lawn yesterday! You’re late to the party.
Looks like you need to mow! ![]()
I’d rather see nice green grass with fresh stripes.
I probably live in the wrong state…
Stripes by human is a “waste of time” IMO…but stripes by robot ![]()

Made the wife laugh out loud too.
BINGO!!! Move south. ![]()

We considered snowbirding for a while. Buying a second home in Florida to spend the winters. Eventually decided against it. Might need to revisit that decision. This season has been colder than usual already, and things are just getting started!
