The lawn mowing season is becoming more intense and seems I have finetuned my map for more autonomous jobs ( where i don’t have to rescue Yarbo from being stuck somewhere) and now i’m looking towards sheduling jobs, but unfortunately the cadence is either a week, either a day.
But the grass is growing and depending on the month some areas might require mowing every 4 days, 5 days, 6 days. It’s rare that once in a week will be good cadence.
Are there any options to achieve more meaningful schedule?
Hello. In general, the grass should be mowed every 2-3 days for optimum results.
In the scheduling section, you select which days of the week (and the time) you want the schedule to be run. So it’s up to you how frequently Yarbo will run the job(s). Are you not seeing that option?
This is exactly what i’m looking for - to set cadence every fourth day so that would be monday-thursday-sunday-wednesday-saturday-tuesday-friday-monday
So it will cycle through all days on week. With existing schedule i can’t do that.
My guess is it’s related to the option I circled below. Change your frequency from Every Day to Repeat and see if you get the day selectors you see in my screenshot
This will run the plan with a 2-day gap and then a 3-day gap repeated? I think the OP is trying to get the same repeating gap which I don’t think can be done given a 7-day week and current options.
I am assuming they are looking for the same thing I would like, run every 2 day or every 3 days regardless of the day of the week. The way I am setup I basically could use every 2 days and set the start date - that would be perfect.
So instead of specifically selecting to mow on Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun (or something like that), the desire is just to say ‘mow every other day’?
I get it now. Never thought to do that before, because I have multiple areas that require mowing, and I schedule a different area (zone) each day. So selecting by day is ideal for me.
Another scheduling question regarding areas that are >1 day of work. I have one large area (backyard) that takes more time than is allotted in a day (i have it set to work 10 am to 10 pm, areas says it will take 8.5 hours, but add in charging, time for all the little back and forth turns, etc; and it takes more than 12 hours). I have another area that is quite small (along the sides of the driveway). What I would like to do is have yarbo scheduled to mow the driveway lawns, then get going on the back yard; then the next day pick up where it left off in the back yard and finish that plan. Can anyone recommend settings to do so? Thanks.
