No thank you!!!
Looks like Yarbo is getting behind, better send him out to clear that ![]()
He could probably work on that for awhile, but eventually heād drown.
At least he wouldnāt get skin cancer/sunburn like I probably would ![]()
Iām having constant āauger over currentā error as well. Mine has been acting up for basically this entire season. It not surging but rather itās almost stalling out and canāt maintain auger speed. It happened roughly 5-8 times this last snowfall with 3ā of powder. Then after I kept clearing the error it literally died in the middle of clearing. Totally shut down. This year has been nothing but problems⦠I have a great example of the issue on video luckily.
If you havenāt already, open a ticket and upload the video to the ticket for faster service.
Hi there, sorry to hear about the trouble youāve been experiencing. Iāve checked your support ticket and confirmed that weāve received your latest update.
Our support team will continue following up on the ticket to investigate the root cause and provide a solution. We appreciate your patience during the troubleshooting process, and thank you for working with us on this.
Iām also experience the same issue, getting overcurrent errors very frequently (literally every 10 seconds or so) and hear the auger spin back down, in 1-2 inches of dusty snow max - tried in turbo, performance, balanced, mode etc. Makes no difference.
This sounds similar to an issue I experienced.
I suggest you open a ticket and attach a video that clearly shows the symptoms. (Feel free to post here too)
In my case, a replacement snowblower was required. Hopefully your issue will be resolved shortly.
Was there a solution to the auger overcurrent issue? Mine stopped with an error that vaguely said something like āwait a whileā. For software thatās 4 seconds, networking hardware 30 seconds. I waited 2 minutes, finished the job then put it in a warm shed to defrost. Should I be checking anything else before running it again?
Was it waiting for auger to get to speed or something like that? If so, you probably need to submit a ticket for the M25 connector issue.
At the time of my issue, the root cause was not yet understood. They said there was an internal wiring issue associated with the emergency stop in the snowblower module.
Now we understand that these issues tend to be caused by intermittent contact between the male and female ends of the M25 connector. So if you are having a similar issue, thatās the diagnostic path I would go down.
I have a strict 5 tickets per week rule, I donāt want to get on some list. I walked the spot where it got the error and I suspect it was caused by uneven asphalt.
I would think that would be track slippage and not an overcurrent.
Hi there, would you happen to recall the error code?
In the meantime, here are some possible solutions to address the auger overcurrent issue. If this happens frequently, please feel free to contact our support team for further assistance.
What are the differences in those 3 codes meanings? Why would 2 and 3 only require a rest?
@bryan.wheeler Thanks for your question!
The descriptions of OA002 and OA003 in the image are not fully accurate.
OA002 typically occurs when the snow in the area is too thick.
OA003 means the snow exceeds Yarboās processing capability, and it is not advisable for Yarbo to continue working in those conditions.
I didnāt grab the code, but ārest briefly before resumingā(or something close) was the msg. And I do think the auger may have clipped some asphalt, so it makes sense.
