Snowblower auger motor surging

Had an auger motor over current error one minute into a plan. went to check found no issue cleared error and started plan again once it started the motor kept switching between slow and fast.

Currently waiting out the bms reset hope that the charging maybe help the blower issue.

Any insights?

Get a ticket opened. This sounds abnormal.

I also have a ticket opened with surging happening. The auger actually ended up stopping part way through a plan, no error, and was sitting waiting for the auger to reach speed. Hopefully we’re outliers or it’s a easy to fix code thing🤞

I’m sure I read something about this last year just can’t find it. I’m going to swap the blower out for the sam check the blower then switch back to se if there is a problem or that fixes it.

I have the same thing going on with mine. I placed a ticket and this was the response - “We’ve finished pulling the logs from your unit and can already see a clear pattern pointing to the auger-speed signal. Our firmware and hardware groups are now working together to trace whether it’s a sensor calibration issue or a motor-controller edge case.”

That sounds promising at least that they can remotely fix it! :crossed_fingers:

I’m glad they were descriptive in what the potential failure points could be. The more detail the better imho.

They said they couldn’t see anything on my logs, to try to keep an eye on it

No, that doesn’t look good at all. Did you already open a ticket?
Make sure to add that video to the ticket to speed things up.

I opened a ticket and the response was it the snow and moisture issue. Sent further videos with the strange operation and got an identical response. Just added this video to the ticket.
