Spot Mowing

I love this machine. I think something that would make it even better would be able to do “spot mowing.”

I have a robot vacuum and I can draw an area on the map that maybe someone spilled something and it will go over to that area and sweep it up.

It would be great if I could draw an area on my map where I want it to mow a little area and then go back to the charging station without having to mow the entire area.

A couple other additions for the utilitarian use of this little robot.

  1. Come to me mode. Where I click a button on the app and it uses my phone GPS to come find me. So I can use it for whatever I’m doing without have to manually drive it over to me. I have a complicated large property, so this would be really nice.
  2. Pin drop mode. Where I drop a pin on the map and yarbo drives over to where I dropped the pin.

Definitely seen this request before for the spot mow, it’s a great idea.

I also like the come to me mode and agree it would be useful.

They are already working on pin drops. It’s called waypoints. Should hopefully be released real soon.

I’ve passed your first suggestion about “spott mowing” to our product team.

Regarding the “come to me mode”, we’ve received this feature requests before and decide not to move forward for safety consideration.

As for the “pin drop” feature, we are now developing the waypoint feature for SAM module.

After double-checking with the product team, we are still in the evaluation stage regarding the decision to move forward with the “Spot Mowing” feature. Meanwhile, the “Waypoint” functionality of the SAM module is already in the development stage. Please note that the “Come to Me Mode” has been archived, as we will not be proceeding with this feature.

Go to Waypoint or come to me… seems like go to waypoint is more flexible and will accomplish the goal of come to me. IMHO.
